Synopsis

Spring - Summer 09/10

Research project on the relation between memory and clothing:continuous development of pieces with a sculptural character,fragmented and rebuilt by memory.Clothing constrains the body, distorts it , orientates its perception,imprints sensations, interacts with individuals not only through image but also through movement building a dialogue between wearer and garment : Subject and object - Negative and positive.The negative /positive processes of moulding and casting,with their reversing internal and external surfaces , convexities and concavities lead to ideas of intimate fitting and folding together of the bodies(body-moulds/clothes).The return to the body as a subject of feeling, nucleus of perception and sensation as well as memory and experience.
