Synopsis

The Mimesis project, is part of the project developed since May 2005, its based on the research on the relation between clothing and memory. This project was developed on the threshold of garment as a functional object. The pieces gain a sculptural character with the use of rigid materials and durability, in order to allow them to preserve their "life experience". This interdisciplinary project was developed in collaboration with the ceramist Mário Nascimento and with the jeweller Catarina Dias.
