Synopsis

Historical fragments, at the same time that reveal traces from the past, always conduce to a new reading of the present. As the present is constantly changing, the past must be reevaluated/re-represented. The work is intrinsically related with the research on which it is based upon, both firmly structured on a formal and conceptual development of register, inscription and remembrance leading to a reinterpretation and reorganisation of the shape.

The pieces loose their referent and become imbued of a mnemonic capacity.Memory emerges, equally, associated to an idea of imperfection.The link between memory and its object becomes so precarious that the truth of the remembered object is erased and overthrown by its interpretation.
